Hi, I’m Raven — the founder of Country Scrunchie Club.

I live in a historic market town in Somerset with my fiancé and our little boy. I’ve always had a country heart, and I feel completely myself when I’m outdoors exploring, taking in the fresh air, and enjoying the simple, peaceful moments that the countryside offers. That love for rural living sits at the centre of who I am — and at the heart of this brand.

 

How It All Began

Country Scrunchie Club started from something very personal: the daily struggle of putting outfits together. I love country clothing, but I often found it hard to add those little touches that made an outfit feel complete. With long, thick hair that I’m always pushing out of the way — especially at the yard — I constantly had a scrunchie on my wrist.

But there was a problem.
Most scrunchies didn’t hold my hair, didn’t last, or simply didn’t fit the style I loved. I could never find anything that felt me — functional, beautiful, and with that country charm I adore.

Then the idea hit me.

I bought my very first sewing machine, watched countless YouTube videos, and jumped straight into a world that was completely outside my comfort zone. It took many hours of practice and plenty of trial and error, but eventually I made my first scrunchie… and I was obsessed.

Creating something with my own hands — something I loved, something that actually worked, something that felt like “country style” — lit a spark in me. And from that spark, Country Scrunchie Club was born.

My goal has always been simple: to bring small pieces of country-inspired joy into everyday life. Whether you're taming your hair at the yard, dressing up an outfit, or adding a subtle country touch to your day, I want my scrunchies to make you feel confident, comfortable, and beautifully you.
